Five hard standings, and honest about the rest

Everything New Farm CL Site has, and the two things it does not, with a photograph beside each claim so you can see it before you tow.

Low evening sun flaring behind a new timber post and rail fence, with the mown grass pitch area, a gravel track and solar bollard lights along the hedge.
The pitches

A hard standing and a piece of grass, per van

Every pitch is a level hard standing super pitch with its own grass pitch alongside it, for an awning or for putting chairs out. The photographs show gravel bays with mown grass strips between and around them, and a gravel access track running through.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club records the terrain as lawned, and rates the hard standings here as enhanced quality.

The hook ups

Three photographs, three claims

A cream weatherproof enclosure holding a blue 16 amp commando socket and a rotary isolator, mounted on a black stained timber post under a small timber rain hood with a solar light on top.

Individual illuminated electric hook up

In the owners' words: “The electric hook-ups are also easy to connect and supply you with 16 amp of safe electricity allowing you to use multiple electricals at once.”

The photograph is one of the posts. A blue 16 amp commando socket and a rotary isolator in a weatherproof enclosure, on a black stained timber post, under a small timber hood, with a solar light on the cap. The yellow label asks you not to turn the switch unless the plug is inserted.

A brass drinking water tap on a black stained timber post with a solar light on its cap and the supply pipe lagged, standing on gravel beside the pitching area at sunset.

A drinking water tap on every pitch

In the owners' words: “Our water hook-ups are easy to connect and provide you with safe drinking water as well as water for everyday use.”

A brass tap on its own black stained post, with the supply pipe lagged and a solar light on the cap, the same as the electric posts. You can see the rest of the pitching area behind it in the photograph, and the other lit posts along the row.

The chemical waste emptying point: a green fibreglass unit with its lid propped open showing a white moulded funnel inside, set on grey block paving within a dark stained timber screen.

Chemical waste emptying point

In the owners' words: “The chemical waste emptying point is clean and private with easy accessibility from each pitch.”

Worth knowing

What is not here

There are no toilets and no shower facilities on site. New Farm is a Certificated Location for self contained caravans and motorhomes, so you will need your own on board washroom. Most CL guests expect that, but it is worth saying out loud rather than quietly leaving it off a list.

What there is for waste is the chemical emptying point, dry waste disposal and recycling. TV reception is good. Coarse fishing is available locally rather than on the site itself.
