Severn Valley Railway

In the owners' words: built in 1858-1862, providing 16 miles of scenic terrain running from Bridgnorth and the Shropshire countryside through to Worcestershire and Kidderminster. The course follows the River Severn for much of its route and travels over the historic Victoria Bridge.

West Midlands Safari Park

Wildlife park

In the owners' words: a landscaped park, home to some of the world's most beautiful and exotic animals. You are able to take the four mile drive around the park at your own pace. It also includes a Discovery Trail and an African Village, Land of the Living Dinosaurs and Ice Age featuring life size prehistoric creatures, and its own large theme park.

Stourport canal basins

In the owners' words: restored and returned to their original Georgian splendour, allowing you to watch boats or barges travelling through the locks. There are five historic basins in total, which house almost 100 narrow boats and yachts.

The owners' suggestion is to explore the canals leisurely on foot, along the open pathways, which is how you reach the basins from this direction.
